The Western Reserve Railroad Association (dba The Painesville Railroad Museum) is dedicated to the restoration of the NYC Painesville Depot, preserving railroad history and promoting model railroading.
On April 20th, 2015 the City of Painesville has amendment the Historic Preservation District Section 1146.03 and established Railroad Street Historic Preservation District which includes Railroad Street and all property of the Western Reserve Railroad Association (dba Painesville Railroad Museum).
